Emergency Information
The School of Science is commited to the safety and well-being of all the members of the community. Listed below are contacts and resources for emergencies of all kinds.
It is very important to note that to contact police, ambulance, and fire on campus, dial 100 from campus phones or 617-253-1212 from all other phones. It is strongly recommended that you program 617-253-1212 into your cell phone.
The School has organized a team to coordinate our response to emergencies and serious incidents during and after the event. After calling emergency services, please contact your department, lab or center's team member to alert them to the situation. Team members can find information on response plans on Stellar (Certificates required).

International Emergencies
International SOS | MIT has contracted with the travel assistance company, International SOS, to provide emergency medical and security evacuation services to faculty, staff, and students who are travelling abroad on MIT business.
